There is generally no minimum or maximum length as long as the WIL component of the student’s program of study covers the duration of the placement and falls within the funding period of each term. However, if the placement duration is less than one month, it may not qualify as a quality WIL placement. Magnet will review such placements on a case-by-case basis and may decline the application if the placement ends earlier than planned.
